We had a lovely welcome of flowers for my moms birthday and an early check in. The home is lovely with beautiful views and right above the pools. Even with a minor hiccup in our stay, was quickly responded to and addressed. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting and want peace of mind during their stay!

This place was amazing! Beautiful location, and very peaceful. Shelby was very responsive and eager to help. She responded right away whenever we had questions, and gave recommendations on things to do. She is very kind and cared about our stay. This is by far the best Airbnb we have stayed at. It felt like we were home. Thanks again Shleby for an amazing stay.

Lovedddd our stay! the pictures don’t even do it justice. The grounds are so perfectly manicured, the pools were amazing and everyone was so friendly. Just a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Even walked into town one night— but did take a taxi home because of the hills haha. But really, this place is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay in Zihua and especially liked the views at Shelby’s place and 2 infinity pools at Casa que ve al Mar. Shelby had fun pool toys for my two kids including a blow up surfboard. We used the pool just about every day. Shelby had great communication before and during our stay. Dulce, the on-site Manager was friendly and helpful. The maid, Veronica, cooked at the condo for us one night which was nice and we had leftovers to enjoy the next day. Restaurants: There are many good restaurants nearby. We went Friday night to IL MARE for pasta and wine and the views and service was great. The beaches: our favorite was LA ROPA which you can walk to in about 7 minutes. We also went to Las Gatas, Troncones, and Playa Larga (Puerta Paraiso hotel let’s you use their pool and lounge chairs with food and drink consumption). We will definitely be returning to Zihua!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo with stunning views!! The condo was very spacious and we were very comfortable there and it truly felt like home. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The walk from the condo to La Ropa Beach is not long at all and there are many “colectivos” which are basically public transportation via a mini-van that drive on the main street in front of condo that can take you anywhere such as downtown or surrounding areas. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We enjoyed the condo - great views, each bedroom having its own bath, and comfortable. Dulcie was wonderful and helped us with logistics. We thoroughly enjoyed Doris’ cooking and only wish we had it earlier in the week to enjoy all of the leftovers. Get the chicken tinga and beef with peppers - excellent! The walk to the beach and restaurants is very do-able as is a walk to downtown Z for dinner with a bus or cab ride back. The people of Zihuatanejo never disappoint - it is such a kind and warm environment.

Do not hesitate to book this stunning Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, our jaws hit the floor! Shelby and Kevin's unit was even NICER than we were expecting! The glass wall that opens up is stunning and the view never got boring! Shelby and Kevin have everything covered - from beach towels and beach bags, thermal mugs, wine glasses to shampoo and body wash! We were SO impressed! Shelby offered some great suggestions as well! We walked daily to the beach but a cab was literally only a 2 minute wait - ask the fellows at the Security Hut! Lots of beach front restaurants and no shortage of dining in Zihua and things to do! We highly recommend this rental - everything was top notch and in an excellent location! We will be back!

We stayed here in early December with our son and daughter-in-law. The unit was very clean and had really comfy beds. We especially appreciated having king sized beds in both bedrooms. The view from the unit was fantastic and we spent a lot of time sitting in the open air, taking it in. There was a great breeze flowing through the living areas; we only used the AC in our bedrooms at night. The walk down to the beach is easy...the walk back up is a little tougher in the heat! It is steep but doable. Lots of good restaurants there. We also ate in town several night. Ask around at the pool for great eating and entertainment ideas. Taxis are cheap and easy to get. Speaking of pools...they were great. Warm, clean and with a beautiful view. We felt extremely safe and there was always someone around to answer questions. A great stay

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing property. We loved the smaller size of the complex and found the unit itself had everything we needed (except beach toys, but we fixed that). Comfortable beds, nice linens and towels. There are 2 different pools and our kids used the pools everyday; some days multiple times. We could have packed a little lighter (wish we did) as there was a washer and dryer in the unit. Not far from one of our favourite beaches, la Playa Ropa, which was an easy walk down (slightly harder walk up - but not the worst). We knew we would be having nights in (since we have 2 kids) so being able to sit and enjoy the view was the best part. We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay, with our daughter and her husband. Enjoy going to the beach and swimming and getting a good workout walk on the hill back home. In the evening we would walk to town, have a great meal, and taxi it back home. Everything is relatively close, if you get to far walking, no problem finding a taxi. Really enjoyed our time there.

Where do I start….. simply put, this is paradise. The accommodations and the views were spectacular. The owners were very resourceful and attentive to our requests or special needs. I can’t wait to return to this little piece of heaven in Zihua !

This place is beautiful! Entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. Perfect location, and just a short jaunt down to Playa Ropa. The patios, and the views looking out on to the ocean, are un-beatable. Paradise! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful vacation in Zihua at La Casa que ve al Mar. The photos truly do not do it justice. From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the amazing unobstructed view of the Bay & Ocean. Shelby & Kevin were great with Communication. We always had our questions answered quickly. We cannot wait for the day till we’re able to return to Paradise!!

We had a wonderful experience staying in Casa del Sol Poniente! Our stay was longer than most, lasting several months, as we chose to ride out COVID in paradise. Given the length of stay we expected surprises to pop up here and there but the only surprise was that there were no surprises! The condo is so charming, the grounds immaculately maintained, and the infinity pool is the only place to be when saying goodbye to the sun every day. Shelby and Kevin were terrific hosts as well, always answering our questions promptly and working with their local administrator to go above and beyond. We will be back!

This condo was perfect! The view is just amazing. It was great being so close to the pool. We were worried about the noise but it was so quiet and peaceful. Shelby sent us a great welcome packet with instructions for when we arrived in Zihuatanejo all the way to the front door. We have never had that before. She also sent us restaurant recommendations. Some were closed because of Covid, but we did not have to go far to find somewhere else great to eat. We already miss sitting on the balcony eating breakfast. Shelby was great at making sure to always be available to help if we needed it. We were planning our trip back before we even left! Thanks, Shelby and Kevin for such a great experience!
